NCF 2005 is the fourth National Curriculum Framework published in the year 2005 by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT).
The first NCF was published in the year 1975, second in 1988,
and third in the year 2000.
The NCF 2005 serves as a guideline for textbooks, syllabus,
teaching practices, and teaching methods for the schools in India.
The NCF 2005 is translated into 22 languages and influenced the
syllabus in 17 states.
